Assistant ManagerWe are looking for a leader with an outgoing, energetic, positive, and friendly personality for the Assistant Manager position at our drive-thru only store! As a leader, you'll help develop the culture in your store using our core values of integrity, love, humility, and courage as a guide. If coffee is new to you, don't worry. This position serves as a role model to the baristas and as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable.Responsibilities:Ensure Scooter's "Amazing" customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniquesMaintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rushAssist the GM in onboarding and training new team membersDevelop effective working relationships with team membersProactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team salesUnderstand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent mannerEnsure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesServe as a keyholder, following all opening and closing proceduresDemonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptabilityAssist Store Manager with administrative dutiesAssist with the management of labor, food, and other controllable costs within budget guidelinesRequirements:Passion for peopleExcellent communicationEnergetic, fast-paced, flexible work styleAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and administrative skillsAbility to anticipate and respond to customer needsEstablished in 1998, Scooter's Coffee has distinguished itself as one of the premiere specialty coffee companies in the industry.
