The Goddard School® located in Pflugerville, TX is growing and looking to add a caring, energetic, and reliable Afternoon/Part-Time Teacher Assistant to our amazing team of Early Childhood Educators. We are hiring specifically for an afternoon schedule of 12 :00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  You must be able to work with all ages, ranging from 6 weeks old to 5 years of age .

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to safely support young children

• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently

• Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a licensed child care center

• Experience supporting infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children

As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll partner with a Lead Teacher to create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

• Assisting with daily routines, activities, and curriculum implementation

• Supporting each child’s social and emotional development

• Demonstrating warmth, kindness, and professionalism at all times
