About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Western Washington, Washington, 98501!
Specialty: RN-Pre Operation – Travel
Job Description:
- Assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.
- Ensuring that patients are prepared for surgery.
- Working closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure that the patient is healthy enough for surgery.
- Managing patient's pain during recovery.
- Helping patients through any complications that may arise after the procedure.
- Completing paperwork and answering questions or calming fears about surgery.
- Monitoring a patient’s condition during and after surgery.
Qualifications and Job Info:
- 2-3 years of acute clinical care nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS
- Must have a current state license
