Systems Engineer

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to support a program for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will possess specialized expertise across multiple systems and software disciplines, with a general knowledge of related fields and application implications. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide in-depth analysis and technical support for systems software products, ensuring seamless integration and user support. You will also assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products, maintaining currency and configuring related software products. This position can be located anywhere CONUS. Responsibilities Provide systems engineering support for A2R implementation by contributing to design, integration, and validation of asset lifecycle systems and data flows. Support development and testing of interfaces, asset data processing, and automation components to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Analyze and design A2R‑related systems and integrations. Implement asset lifecycle interfaces and data flows. Implement integrations between EBS and external systems (ELMS/DPAS). Develop and support RICE‑FW components (interfaces, conversions, reports). Automate capitalization and asset accounting processes. Perform data validation, reconciliation checks, and integration support across systems. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and interface/processing issues. Support Development Integration Testing (DIT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Contribute to technical documentation, interface control documents (ICDs), and data mapping artifacts. Collaborate with functional teams to align solutions with A2R process requirements. Required Qualifications Active DoD Secret Clearance. Eight (8) years of experience in systems engineering or software development. Relevant certification required. Experience with web applications, XML, XSD, and database technologies. Experience with system integrations and data processing workflows. Familiarity with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems for asset or financial data processing concepts. Experience supporting data validation, reconciliation, and system testing. Experience working in Agile environments. Oral presentation experience and excellent oral and written communication skills. Desired (Non‑Essential) Qualifications Exposure to Oracle Projects, Fixed Assets, or Inventory modules. Familiarity with asset lifecycle processes (A2R, CIP/WIP). Experience with BI/reporting tools for asset analytics. Basic understanding of audit readiness, valuation, and completeness controls. Compensation Range A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 – $156,700.00. Benefits Competitive compensation with profit participation program.
