Strengthen Our Community. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County (BBBSJC) is seeking an inspiring, strategic, and relationship-driven leader to serve as our next Executive Director . This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of Johnson County's most respected youth-serving nonprofits as we continue our mission of creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. The Executive Director serves as the organization's chief executive officer, working closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to advance our mission while ensuring organizational excellence, financial sustainability, and measurable impact for local youth. $75,000-85,000 annually , commensurate with experience. Location Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County 3109 Old Highway 218 South What You'll Do As Executive Director, you will: Provide strategic leadership and guide implementation of the organization's strategic plan. Lead fundraising, donor engagement, grant development, and community partnerships. Ensure sound financial stewardship and organizational sustainability. Inspire, coach, and develop a talented, mission-driven staff. Partner effectively with an engaged Board of Directors. Serve as the public ambassador for BBBSJC throughout Johnson County. Champion high-quality mentoring programs that create measurable outcomes for youth. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will possess: Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Five or more years of progressive executive or senior leadership experience. Demonstrated success in nonprofit management, fundraising, financial oversight, and strategic planning. Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills. A passion for mentoring, youth development, and community impact. Experience with Capital Campaigns.
