As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Experience in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $32.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM Tue: 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM Wed: 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM Thur: 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM Fri: 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least two years of security-related experience. Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
