Semi-Senior Accountant (25966) Dunstable, England Salary: GBP28000 - GBP35000 per annum Semi-Senior Accountant – Independent Accountancy Practice Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and supportive accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Semi-Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified professional looking to broaden their experience across multiple service lines while progressing towards managing their own client portfolio. The firm offers strong long-term development within a friendly collaborative environment with excellent staff retention. Key Responsibilities Prepare year-end statutory accounts and management accounts Prepare VAT returns and respond to client queries Assist with personal tax returns and tax computations Support senior team members across a varied client portfolio Assist on audit assignments from planning through to completion Build strong client relationships and contribute to a high standard of service Work across a range of sectors and service lines to develop technical experience Key Requirements ACA or ACCA part-qualified (AAT qualified and starting ACA/ACCA beneficial) Experience within an accountancy practice environment Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Team player with a proactive and positive approach Experience with IRIS, Xero, and Sage (FreeAgent beneficial) What’s on Offer Clear career progression and opportunity to take ownership of a client portfolio 23 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service Healthcare and pension scheme Free parking Ongoing professional and technical training Supportive and collaborative working environment with long-standing employee #J-18808-Ljbffr Butler-Rose
