Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Must hold CST credential.
• NBSTSA certification or equivalent required for CVOR roles where applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting. (Client requires 3+ years.)
• Experience with a variety of OR equipment and familiarity with EPIC EMR.
• Ability to work weekday and weekend call requirements as specified by the client.
• Must be able to function in settings that include general, orthopedic, spine, neuro, GYN, ENT, robotics, urology, podiatry, vascular, and open heart cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Robotics training preferred.
• Experience with vascular and open heart (CVOR) procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700 - 1730.
• Work pattern referenced as four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with rotating day off.
• Weekend call rotation required.
• Weekday and weekend call requirements apply.
• Float requirements: None.
