Stantec's Texas studio is seeking a creative and driven Landscape Architect to join our Community Development Team—a collaborative group where landscape architecture and urban design come together to shape vibrant, resilient places. Key Responsibilities Design & Documentation Develop concept designs and translate them into detailed construction documents Prepare layout, planting, irrigation, grading plans, and design details Create compelling graphics, renderings, and presentations Collaboration & Engagement Work closely with planners, engineers, and fellow landscape architects Participate in client meetings, workshops, and proposal development Support construction administration and site visits Capabilities and Credentials Strong design sensibility and technical proficiency Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Adobe CreativeSuite, SketchUp, and MicrosoftOffice; experience with Lumion, Rhino, V‑Ray, or Grasshopper is a plus A collaborative mindset and a desire to grow within a supportive team Education and Experience A degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA or MLA) from an accredited program 3+ years of professional experience Licensed in Texas or actively pursuing licensure within the next 2‑3 years Primary Location: United States | TX | Austin Organization: 1720 CommDev‑US Southwest‑Austin TX Employee Status: Regular Travel: Yes Schedule: Full time Pay Transparency In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note that the final agreed‑upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
