Warehouse Assembler

Are you dependable, hands-on, and willing to jump in wherever you're needed? A growing Chippewa Falls manufacturer is looking for a Warehouse Assembler to support its warehouse and production operations.

Position: Warehouse Assembler

Location: Chippewa Falls, WI

Start: Mid-October

Term: Approximately 3 months with potential for long-term hire

Type: Full-Time, Temporary with potential for hire

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Pay: $19.00/hour

Benefits: Available upon eligibility

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience: 1+ year of warehouse, assembly, shipping/receiving, or similar experience strongly preferred

In this role, you'll assemble fans and components while also helping with packaging, shipping and receiving, inventory, and material movement. This position is expected to last approximately three months to cover an employee leave, with the possibility of being hired full-time afterward based on business needs .

Responsibilities

• Assemble fans and fan components
• Package and label finished products for shipment
• Load and unload pallets
• Perform quality checks and complete required documentation
• Process shipping and receiving paperwork
• Use barcode scanners to track inventory movement
• Help maintain accurate inventory throughout the facility
• Move products and materials throughout the warehouse
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Assist with unique projects and changing warehouse needs
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, assembly, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or similar environment strongly preferred
• Forklift certification or previous forklift experience is a plus
• ERP system experience is a plus
• Experience reviewing schedules and allocating resources is a plus
• Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and unique projects
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, goal-driven environment
• Strong attention to quality and inventory accuracy

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, squat, and reach
• Ability to climb stairs as needed
• Manual and finger dexterity to perform assembly and warehouse tasks
• Ability to safely operate a forklift as needed

The initial assignment is expected to last approximately three months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position if business needs support an additional full-time team member.
