Senior Social Strategist

Senior Social Strategists own day-to-day social strategy development for assigned clients. They transform audience insights, cultural intelligence, social listening findings, platform expertise, and performance data into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes. They are responsible for shaping content ecosystems, creator strategies, channel approaches, community building efforts, and social-first campaign recommendations. Senior Social Strategists are trusted advisors to clients and internal teams and play a significant role in influencing creative development and integrated planning.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop social strategies, POVs, and artifacts for assigned clients and initiativesDevelop social-first, creator-led, and community-driven strategic recommendationsTranslate social intelligence into content, platform, and campaign approachesBuild channel strategies, audience frameworks, and content ecosystemsProvide social input into integrated planning processesShape creative briefs and provide strategic direction throughout concept developmentSupports QA, scheduling and publishing of content as well as community management and RTMsPartner with other teams, departments to identify optimization opportunities and measure impactPresent recommendations and strategic findings to clients and internal teamsMentor junior team members and elevate team capabilitiesQualifications4-6 years of relevant social, communications, strategy, or agency experienceExperience developing social strategies and content ecosystems for brandsStrong understanding of creator marketing, audience behavior, and social intelligenceExpertise across TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest and emerging social/digital trendsStrong storytelling, presentation, and workshop facilitation skillsAbility to influence cross-functional teams and client decisionsBarkleyOKRP’s Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + BelongingAt BarkleyOKRP, DEI+B drives work that matters.
