Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and skills in diagnostic and invasive CT imaging, including ED trauma and stroke cases.

Details

• Radiology CT department on the 2nd floor of the A tower
• 800-bed hospital setting
• Staffing varies by shift, with day shift staffed by 5 technologists and a supervisor, evening shift by 4-5 technologists and a rad assistant, and night shift by 2-3 technologists and a rad assistant
• Equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO units, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors
• EMR systems used include Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS
• Shift hours are 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Possible weekend shifts and rotation to other shifts
• Potential on-call requirement of approximately 12 hours per month

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Skills required in all areas of CT imaging, including diagnostic and invasive scans
• Experience in ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• GE equipment experience, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture skills preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and invasive CT imaging including neuro, MSK, body, cardiac, and pediatric imaging
• Work in a Level II trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center
• Ideal candidates are self-motivated team players who can also work independently
• Black scrubs required
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
