Job Summary

We are hiring a Reach Truck Forklift Operator to support a fast-paced warehouse distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving operations, order fulfillment, and safe product handling to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily shipping and receiving operations
• Safely load and unload trucks using proper material handling techniques
• Pick and pack orders by accurately matching product numbers and documentation
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
• Organize, stage, and label inventory within the warehouse
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage
• Follow all safety protocols, including use of PPE such as steel-toe shoes and safety vests
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support flexible shifts or extended hours based on business needs

Required Skills

Minimum 3 year of forklift, Marerial handler, shipping and receiving experience

Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to operate or learn reach truck or forklift equipment (Crown experience preferred)

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move items throughout the shift

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications

Experience operating reach truck or similar material handling equipment

Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems

Flexible availability for varying shifts

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable and punctual

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
