Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality obstetric care, support patients through labor and postpartum, and ensure safety and comfort at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals, promptly addressing any abnormalities.
• Administer medications, epidurals, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with birthing procedures and provide postpartum support to new mothers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio or compact state RN license required; pending licenses not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current NRP certification required; willingness to obtain STABLE certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is highly desirable.
• Ability to report to facility within 30 minutes and respond to call within 1 hour.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient management skills.
