Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist, Pediatric (RT PEDS) located in Cincinnati. This 13-week assignment involves providing comprehensive respiratory care for pediatric patients, including evaluating and implementing treatment plans, operating ventilatory and oxygen equipment, and performing procedures such as chest physiotherapy and tracheostomy care. The role requires collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, delivering intensive respiratory therapy and patient transport as medically prescribed within the scope of professional license and with minimal supervision.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, education, and experience include a current Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT RRT) license, 0 years of experience, and the ability to perform procedures such as operating ventilatory equipment, conducting pulmonary function tests, and performing bedside procedures related to respiratory care.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, monitoring using oximetry and capnography, reviewing chest x-rays, performing advanced procedures like bronchoscopies, and maintaining accurate documentation of treatments and responses.
