Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Coverage

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage in Daytona Beach, FL . The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

This is a great opportunity to join an established therapy team and provide continuity of care during a temporary coverage assignment.

Position Details

• Location: Daytona Beach, Florida
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Assignment Type: Maternity Leave Coverage
• Start Date: November 1

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
• Provide therapy services for speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on positive patient outcomes

Requirements

• Required: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Required: Active SLP license in the state of practice or ability to obtain
• Preferred: Previous speech therapy or healthcare experience
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
