Certifications: BLS, CPT I, CPT I (California)

Must-Have: CPT I certification must be in hand

Description: CPT I certification must be in hand. Start date is as soon as possible. Previous charge experience is not applicable. Experience with a patient load of 60-100 is required. Experience with general specimen processing, including centrifuging and aliquoting of body fluids, is preferred. Knowledge of reference labs is important. Candidates should have skills in aseptic technique, blood specimen storage, and proper disposal and labeling of specimens. The role may require floating between various departments within the facility. Travelers should be willing to work during holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Two references covering one year within the last three years are required during the compliance process. Candidates must have experience with the charting system Epic. Travelers may expect to float to nearby affiliate facilities as required. Local applicants are accepted. RTO must be included at the time of submission.
