Job Summary:
This position is for a Circulating Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The role involves assisting with general and neuro surgery cases, focusing on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care while acting as a patient advocate at all times. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment.

• Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri
• Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts, with a limit of three Fridays or Mondays off in a six-week schedule
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (AHA) certification, 1+ years of experience in neuro-specific roles, experience with DaVinci Xi surgical robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair positioning; experience with EPIC electronic health record system; applicants must hold a valid nursing license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in general, urology, gynecology, orthopedic surgeries, and flexible case participation.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1, with exemptions subject to client approval. The facility uses advanced surgical equipment including DaVinci Xi, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, and Beach Chair for patient positioning. The role includes on-call responsibilities approximately every 6-7 days, with scheduled late shifts if needed.
