Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the PCU/Tele unit to provide comprehensive patient care, utilizing clinical expertise and collaborative teamwork. This role involves delivering individualized nursing interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and adapting to diverse medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver direct, personalized nursing care to patients based on scientific principles and clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain professional interactions with patients and visitors, ensuring high-quality communication.
  
  
• 
  Float to different floors or campuses as required, supporting staffing needs across units.
  
  
• 
  Comply with travel and facility-specific policies, including documentation and drug screening mandates.
  
  
• 
  Complete necessary lab work within 72 hours of acceptance or develop an action plan for timely completion.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Must hold an active RN license with submission in hand prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown settings.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
  
  
• 
  Be able to travel and live 150 miles or more from the facility; travel experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Capable of handling a broad range of medical conditions with versatility and professionalism.
