The Dentologie Queen Anne dental practice is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to provide outstanding patient care! Dentologie's Ballard office offers expert care in a vibrant neighborhood, close to local landmarks and the charm of Ballard's unique shops. A Registered Dental Assistant with Dentologie will have excellent hourly pay ($25 - $32/hr, based on experience), growth opportunities, benefits package, full-time hours with a balanced schedule, and to be part of an outstanding (fun!) culture! Responsibilities Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of a variety of procedures Provide a 10-star Patient experience Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, ortho, pediatric, endo, periodontics, prosthodontics and OS Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4-handed dentistry) Make patients as comfortable as possible in the chair while preparing them for treatment Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment. Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education. Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment Monitor daily supplies for restocking Assist dentist in providing patients with instructions for care post-treatment procedures.
