Junior Business Analyst

Junior Business AnalystSavvee Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to support our federal client onsite in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and communication skills to support IT portfolio management operations, coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, and ensure the timely flow of information across the program. This individual will excel at managing administrative and reporting functions, maintaining portfolio data and collaboration platforms, and providing reliable support to senior analysts and leadership in a dynamic federal IT environment.Essential Functions:Supporting analysis for the monthly IT investment review by compiling data and preparing review materials.Assisting the Business Analyst Journeyman with the coordination, facilitation, implementation, tracking, and analysis of data calls, including inputs to the quarterly Integrated Data Call (IDC) and other federal-wide data calls to OMB.Supporting meeting management, including coordinating program and project management meetings, preparing agendas and materials, capturing minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.Supporting the Communications Specialist with the monthly IT workforce community meetings (agendas, minutes, follow-up actions).Managing communications through the client's shared mailboxes, responding to internal inquiries for guidance and drafting responses for external communications (daily), in coordination with the Communications Specialist.Supporting development of program status reports and dashboards and providing inputs to status updates and briefings for IT leadership.Supporting the Financial/Functional Analyst with the development, maintenance, tracking, and reporting of the IT budget, investments, and spend plans, including logging and tracking IT spend plans, IT procurement requests, and other intake submissions.Supporting the Enterprise Engineer in maintaining the program website and SharePoint sites and supporting the Technical Writer in reviewing and updating IT governance and portfolio documents.Supporting program and project stakeholder engagement and communication, and program/project status updates and briefings, including the program/project website and other governance tools and platforms.Supporting the development and updating of implementation instructions and templates for the portfolio and financial management office.Providing reporting in multiple forms (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, e.g., Google Slides and Google Sheets).Performing other duties as assigned by the COR.Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs.Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.Required Education and Training:Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience and Skills Required:Four or more years of business analyst experience, including two or more years performing duties like data analysis, performance analysis and evaluation, business analysis, process improvement support, tracking, and business process documentation.Demonstrated ability to support the SOW's coordination/analysis tasks: data call coordination and tracking, meeting management (agendas, minutes, follow-up actions), shared-mailbox communications, status reports/dashboards, and website/SharePoint/document updates.Must have the ability to obtain the client's suitability and meet federal background investigation requirements.A proficiency in utilizing MS Office products.Proven familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A highly motivated self-starter.Must be motivated and have excellent customer service skills.EOE Statement: Savvee Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
