Desktop Support Technician

Braided Technologies is a managed IT services provider based in Haverhill, MA, supporting organizations across New England. We're hiring a full-time Onsite IT Support Technician dedicated to one of our client sites - a nonprofit human services organization in Manchester, NH. You'll be a Braided employee working onsite at the client's offices five days a week, with our remote engineering team behind you on every ticket. This is a hands-on, people-facing role - right for someone who likes solving problems in person rather than over the phone all day. What you'll do Desk-side and end-user support for staff at the client site Hardware setup and troubleshooting: workstations, printers, peripherals Asset deployment, recovery, and inventory tracking Hands-on support for onboarding and offboarding (equipment, accounts, workspace setup) Meeting room and AV setup Hands-on assistance with desk phones and related equipment, coordinating with the client's vendors Escalate complex issues to Braided's remote engineering team and see them through What we're looking for Roughly 1+ years in a helpdesk, desktop support, or similar IT support role (or strong equivalent experience - we care more about aptitude and reliability than credentials) Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 Clear, patient communication with non-technical staff Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - occasional travel between client locations, with mileage reimbursed Ability to pass a background check, including screenings required by the client's regulatory environment What you get $18-23/hour depending on experience, paid semi-monthly Company-supported health coverage for full-time 40-hour schedules 401(k) with company safe harbor contribution Paid time off plus 12 company holidays and 2 floating holidays Mileage reimbursement for work travel A team behind you - you're never the last line of support About this role This position supports a dedicated client engagement.
