Physician (MD) – Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7A-7P and 7P-7A)
• Work within a team structure of 1 physician with 2 mid-level providers in split coverage
• Manage a daily patient volume of 90-100 patients, with physicians typically seeing 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift
• Document and manage patient care using EMR system Meditech 6.1
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to submission
• Must hold an active NC license or IMLC licensure
• Board certification required at the certified level
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• On-site support services include anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology available 24 hours
• Hospital-owned apartment accommodations provided for the duration of the assignment
• Travel costs capped at $500.00
