Must have a valid state-issued driver's license and safe driving record. Responsibilities include: * Building loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies * Forklift training, certification, and operation * Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse * Communicating delays or discrepancies with management * Other duties as assigned * Communication * Time Management * Forklift Operation * Keeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies Qualifications Be at least 21 years old. * Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. * Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle. * Provide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. * Be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act * Not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. * Complete or have completed a driver's road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of driver's road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act. * Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license * Depending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card. * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 84 Lumber Company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
