Payroll Accountant - Private Equity Backed Consulting Firm in Boston

Payroll Accountant | Hybrid | PE-Backed Global Consulting Firm in Boston Our client, a highly respected PE-backed global consulting firm, is looking to add a Payroll Accountant to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional or accounting professional with payroll experience who is looking to take on a highly visible role supporting both U.S. and international payroll operations. The position offers exposure to process improvement initiatives, internal controls, audit readiness, and global payroll expansion efforts. Responsibilities: Process and support multi-state U.S. payroll operations Prepare payroll and benefits-related journal entries Manage payroll accruals, including PTO, bonuses, profit sharing, and other compensation liabilities Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet and expense accounts Support quarter-end and year-end payroll tax reconciliations Assist with W-2 preparation and year-end reporting activities Partner closely with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance Maintain data integrity across payroll, HRIS, and accounting systems Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of payroll accounting or payroll administration experience Advanced Excel skills Experience with ADP Workforce Now, NetSuite, Rippling, or similar payroll/ERP/HRIS platforms Strong understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and payroll tax compliance CPP certification is a plus $70K - $90K base salary dependent on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Daley And Associates, LLC
