Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) molecules located in Lebanon, IN. This facility is Lilly’s largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products, including new modalities. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the startup team for a greenfield manufacturing site and the successful candidate will help build the processes and facility to enable a successful start‑up into GMP manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, track and maintain reliability metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, downtime, costs, emergency work orders, obsolete parts, events, etc.
• Provide field support to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues; support may be required outside normal working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Assess/identify opportunities to improve the equipment reliability, recommend solutions, and manage implementation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain equipment maintenance strategies to optimize safe operation, compliance (HSE & GMP), cost, and efficiency/effectiveness of LP1 assets.
• Perform Root‑Cause Analysis (RCA) and remediation plan for events, abnormal conditions during PM, late maintenance activities, costs.
• Provide engineering support for change controls, event investigations, etc.
• Perform continuous improvement of maintenance instructions for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Perform continuous improvement of our assets spare parts list for accuracy.
• Technical expert and site mentor in the proper use of the Maximo CMMS system for developing maintenance strategies, execution, and documenting equipment history.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering for design, selection, construction/installation to improve reliability and maintainability of new or modified equipment.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering in the equipment classification process, defining Maximo location hierarchy, populating asset information, developing return‑to‑service instructions, and acquisition of equipment manuals.
• Effectively communicate with key customers and support group regarding equipment reliability, maintenance activities, and improvement efforts.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology

Additional Skills/Preferences

• Experience working in a GMP/regulated environment.
• RMIC – Reliability & Maintainability Implementation Certification
• Maximo CMMS experience
• Tasks require entering manufacturing areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.
• Position Location: US: Lebanon IN LP1
• Shift Information: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm M‑F

Base compensation: $66,000 – $171,600
