Conducting under supervisor direction, preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs and changes, building equipment and plumbing repairs.Essential Job Duties:Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair and appliance repairs.Completes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy.Performs painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.Performs routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.Installs locks, creates keys, re-key cylinders, and tracks outstanding keys for entire campus.Troubleshoot and install PERS call system.Installs phone, cable, and network lines.Fixes plumbing and lighting fixtures.Tests, fixes, install, and replace appliances.Troubleshoots heating and cooling systems.Hangs pictures, moves furniture, and assists residents with daily non-health care needs.Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.Equipment Used:The General Maintenance employee will use the following equipment: construction and maintenance tools and supplies, heavy machinery, motorized vehicles, electrical appliances, computer and various computer programs, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, and heavy phone usage.Wellness Focus:Carillon Senior Living employees are expected to promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
