Adventure Club is the Parkway-Rockwood Community Education Department's before and after-school program.  We run school-age programs in all 37 Elementary Schools in Parkway and Rockwood School Districts.  The program is looking for staff to work before and/or after school in many of our schools. 

Working as an Activity Assistant is an opportunity to work part-time in an elementary school setting with Kinder-5th grade students.  Staff become a part of a dynamic team of people with a united goal of creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for school age children.

Responsibilities:

• Helping to maintain a fun, enriching environment for students & a welcoming atmosphere.
• Providing supervision & direction to students and regard for student safety.
• Responsible for implementing activities and building relationships with students, while monitoring their play and keeping them engaged.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a group setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to demonstrate patience, kindness, and group management while maintaining a fun & welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to communicate clearly, take initiative, and work as a team.
