As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Specialist in Shepherdsville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering designated areas using established procedures and approved screening equipment, escalating prohibited or suspicious items in accordance with site policies.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and access permissions before permitting entry to restricted areas within a technology, media, or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
