Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality CT images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table. Start IVs for contrast injections when necessary. Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed. Provide patients with proper post-procedure instructions. Prepare the room between patients using aseptic technique and clean/sterilize equipment. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. What qualifications you will need Current license as an MRT by the State of Texas (required). Current ARRT (CT) certification (required). Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required). Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required).
