Eye Center of Central Georgia, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. We are always seeking great people who aren’t just searching for a job but looking to make a difference. We are seeking a PRN RN for our Surgery Center in Macon, GA. The RN will assist with the daily operations of the OR to include but not limited to: Pre-op, Circulating, PACU, Discharge, Chart Prep, Phone Calls, and Obtaining Surgical Clearances. Responsibilities Provide pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia care as required for ophthalmic surgical cases. Assist with daily operating room (OR) activities, including chart preparation, patient positioning, and equipment readiness. Support discharge planning and patient education as appropriate. Answer phone calls and obtain necessary surgical clearances. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current, unencumbered GA state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). Current BLS/ACLS certification. A minimum of two (2) years of medical/surgical experience is preferred. Previous ASC experience in ophthalmology is a plus. Must enjoy a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
