Role Description This full-time, on-site Paramedic role is based in Shippingport, PA and focuses on providing high-quality medical care within an occupational setting. The Paramedic will assess and triage injuries and illnesses, perform advanced life support interventions within scope of practice, and coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Daily responsibilities include monitoring employee health, responding to workplace medical emergencies, documenting all assessments and treatments, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Paramedic will also support preventive health initiatives, assist with safety programs and training, and ensure compliance with relevant clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies. The role requires consistent collaboration with site leadership and CORE’s clinical team to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Qualifications Current state Paramedic licensure (or certification) in good standing; eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); PALS or equivalent pediatric certification preferred. Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, triage, emergency care, and advanced life support procedures. Experience in occupational medicine, emergency medical services, industrial or clinic-based healthcare settings is highly beneficial. Knowledge of workplace safety practices, OSHA guidelines, and injury/illness reporting requirements. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records and standard clinical documentation practices. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with skill in interacting with patients, coworkers, and client representatives professionally. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple demands, and make sound clinical decisions under pressure. Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
