Child Development Credential (CDA) is required but, earn while you learn: Promise Early Education will pay for the required training and certification.

Promise Early Education have both Year Round Full Time and Part Year (late August- Early June) positions available. We are in need of both Head Start and Early Head Start Teacher Assistants

Early Head Start Teacher Assistants will be primarily with children 0-3 years old

Head Start Teacher Assistant will be primarily with children 3-5 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
• Assist classroom teachers with classroom management
• Fill in when the Teacher is out of the classroom
• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, get down on the floor with children for floor time activities
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Computer skills are required
• communicate clearly both verbally and in written form

 

Education Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
