Job Title : Pharmacy Clerk – 2nd Shift
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Work Hours:

• Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM EST
• Varying  Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr (Paid Weekly)

Contract: 10/11/2026 to 01/15/2027

Position Overview

The Pharmacy Clerk supports pharmacy fulfillment and warehouse operations by processing, packing, and shipping outgoing pharmacy orders. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and accuracy to ensure medications, supplies, and patient educational materials are properly prepared and shipped according to established procedures.

The ideal candidate will have pharmacy experience or licensure, along with experience in production, packing, order fulfillment, or a high-volume warehouse environment. Experience handling medications, hazardous materials, or other highly regulated products is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, pack, and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring all medications, supplies, and patient educational materials are included.
• Properly package products according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform daily shipping box preparation and assembly.
• Create, replace, and correct shipping labels as needed, including labels for international shipments.
• Transport completed packages to shipping, mail, and courier areas.
• Assist with shipping and delivery doors as needed.
• Receive incoming box orders and ensure products are properly stored.
• Assist with ordering and inventory/warehouse activities.
• Ensure medications and other products are stored appropriately, including proper refrigeration of perishable products.
• Maintain an adequate supply of ice bricks for daily shipments.
• Learn and utilize commercial courier and shipping systems.
• Maintain awareness of shipping and holiday schedules.
• Communicate courier or shipping issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Empty trash and maintain an organized shipping and work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations and production goals.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older .
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds .
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong attendance record and a high level of personal accountability.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining 100% accuracy .
• Flexibility and willingness to shift priorities on short notice to meet production goals.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist coworkers.
• Ability to accept and respond positively to constructive feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy licensure or previous pharmacy experience strongly preferred .
• Production, packing, or order fulfillment experience.
• Experience in a high-volume production or warehouse environment.
• Experience handling medications, hazardous materials, or other highly regulated products.
• Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry best practices.
• Demonstrated history of accurate production work with minimal errors.
