Details NICU unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM No block scheduling available Every other weekend required (2 weekends per month) Mandatory float facility; clinician may be required to float to any unit at facility discretion Uses Cerner charting system Requirements Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required Proof of COVID vaccine required with no exceptions (booster not required) Additional Information Provide nursing care to neonatal ICU patients in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center setting Any scrub color permitted RTO limited to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive days off No RTO approved on weekends, holidays, or the day before/after a holiday Local candidates accepted and preferred within a 75-mile radius of the facility May be floated outside primary area of competency using a team-based support model Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer American Traveler Job ID P-772768.
