To learn more about our values and our culture, visit Altra Careers or WHAT YOU'LL DO: As our Sales Representative for Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, you'll be a key ambassador and champion of the brand. This would include building authentic partnerships, inspiring retailers, and growing Altra's presence throughout the region. Working closely with specialty run accounts, Field Service Representatives, and cross-functional teams, you'll bring our product stories to life and create meaningful connections with the communities we serve while driving wholesale growth and brand activation. Achieve monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual revenue targets for the run and outdoor specialty channels in specified territory. Responsible for maintaining current account relationships, securing seasonal and at-once orders and developing new accounts within strategic sales plan. Adhere to all strategic distribution guidelines set forth by Altra sales management team. Order procurement through traditional face to face and evolved virtual processes, utilizing latest technologies and assets provided by Altra and VF. Manages wholesale product flow to maximize sales revenue, while adhering to strict distribution guidelines. Achieve goals and strategies set forth in the strategic plan, including enhancing and building account relationships, seasonal Go to Market and growth strategies and development of the wholesale activation strategies. Work alongside Field Service Representative in building annual education programs, local activation calendars & seasonal sales plans for each account. Utilize consumer, market share and POS data insights to sustain and grow retail business while proactively addressing issues and opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3+ years of experience and professional achievements. The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 3+ years of field sales, product, marketing, or retail experience Proven ability to execute winning sales strategies and drive results Demonstrated results in executing multiple projects and integrated plans on a seasonal basis Quantified results in exceeding targeted results and expectations Excellent process and organizational management skills Excellent presentation skills, virtual and in person Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Outlook Demonstrated team player Proven ability to build and maintain business critical relationships/partnerships Ability to travel 60% Must have reliable transportation Location requirement: While this role is fully remote, the ideal candidate will be based near the Michigan–Ohio–Indiana tri-state area to better service their client base. Hiring Range: $72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD annually Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
