Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Hospitalist

We are excited to announce an opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our expanding Women’s Health Service Line. This role will be primarily based at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, NY, located in Nassau County. Our organization is a comprehensive healthcare system dedicated to serving the Long Island community in New York.

Our integrated system includes six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional Home Care and Hospice service, and a community-based agency for individuals with developmental disabilities. With over 17,000 employees and an operating budget exceeding $3 billion, we proudly serve more than three million residents across Suffolk, Nassau, and Eastern Queens Counties.

In recent years, we have made significant investments in our Women’s Health Service Line, aiming to create a cohesive program that encompasses various specialties such as OB/GYN, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our OB/GYN team supports approximately 4,700 deliveries annually across the system, with around 1,000 deliveries taking place at Mercy Hospital.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of maternity specialists, including board-certified physicians, nurses, and experts in high-risk pregnancies. Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid NYS MD or DO license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Strong clinical expertise in evaluation and management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $340,000 and $425,000. This estimate reflects a good faith effort and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. Please note that this range does not include potential bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation, nor does it account for the value of benefits.
