Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Rockford, Illinois. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Tasks include: Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply. Experience of 1 year preferred. 6 months of experience may be accepted for exceptional candidate. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning assignment. Benefits/Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
