Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our boutique Architecture & Interior Design firm based in NYC. This role focuses on Workplace Design and Corporate Interior projects , providing an exciting opportunity to work on innovative and functional office spaces. You will collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to create innovative and functional office spaces.
• Work on a variety of projects, including commercial spaces and landlord-related work.
• Space plan and develop material presentations.
• Create construction documents and work on FF&E for Workplace projects.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal team members, clients, and external consultants.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
• 4-7 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer.
• Experience working on Workplace Design/Corporate Interior projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with different internal team members, clients, and external consultants.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with space planning.
• Ability to create 3D renderings.
• Skills in budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.
• Experience with drafting, design development, and schematic design.
• Proficiency in SketchUp.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
