Quick Facts Location: Fort Carson, CO Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date: 11/30/2027 with options to extend Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract Pay & Benefits 1099 All inclusive Hourly Pay Rate: $151.00 Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit Benefits: Paid Sick Time in accordance with law Licensure, Certification, Travel, and Reimbursements where applicable Robust Referral Bonus Program Supportive 24/7 team dedicated to your success What You’ll Do Provide a full range of family medicine services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions Conduct physical examinations, health assessments, and preventative care Order and interpret diagnostic tests, coordinate referrals to specialists Educate patients on health maintenance and self-care strategies Supervise and train healthcare staff, including educational lectures and in-service sessions Ensure compliance with all clinical standards and protocols across military treatment facilities within Colorado What You Need Education : Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification. Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Shall have and maintain current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Board Certification : The DoD only recognizes certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists. Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Experience : HaveactivelypracticedasaFamilyMedicine-Physicianor in training for 24 months within the last 36 months, and are able to demonstrate current clinical competency.Current clinical competencyis verifiable by clinical activitylogs submitted bythe previous medical institutions. Licensure/Registration: Shall have an unrestricted license in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands and be able to obtain clinical privileges to practice medicine at the MTF where services are provided. About the Assignment This role involves providing primary care to military personnel and their families across multiple facilities in Colorado, including Fort Carson, Air Force Space Force bases, and associated clinics. You will deliver patient-centered, comprehensive family medicine services to ensure optimal health outcomes for those who serve.
