About the Position

The role involves providing respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and NICU patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will be responsible for managing respiratory therapy equipment, administering treatments, assisting with ABGs, and supporting patients on ventilators. The role also requires the ability to float.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • 2-3 years for Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT).
  • 3-5 years for Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT).
  • First-time travelers are welcome.
• Education:
  • BSN not required.
  • RRT preferred, CRT acceptable with extensive experience.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP (for NICU), RRT or CRT.
• Skills:
  • Experience with NAVA on Cervo ventilators in NICU preferred.
  • Comfortable with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  • Familiarity with Draeger, Servo U vents, V60 BiPAPs, and high-flow oxygen devices.
• Charting System: EpicCare Inpatient – Epic Systems.

Shift Details:

• Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
• Schedule: Every other weekend, with the possibility of overtime.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts).
• Floating: May float to other locations
