This inpatient facility provides general urological coverage and maintains established clinical protocols to support quality urological care delivery. The facility operates without a trauma designation and has appropriate resources and administrative support in place to facilitate effective care coordination. Clinical operations are structured to accommodate 24-hour beeper call coverage for the adult patient population served.

Marquette, located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula along the shores of Lake Superior, offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor, cultural, and culinary attractions. Hiking destinations such as Sugarloaf Mountain and Hogback Mountain, the Iron Ore Heritage Trail, and scenic parks provide recreational options throughout the region. Clinicians may also explore local breweries, art galleries, museums including the Marquette Maritime Museum and the Marquette Regional History Center, a farmers market, a sculpture park, and waterfront spaces along the lower harbor during time away from clinical duties.

The urologist will provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for inpatient urological services on an on-site basis in Marquette, Michigan. Clinicians will manage general urological cases for an adult patient population, maintaining a call ratio of 1:3 throughout each designated coverage period. Continuous availability is required for urgent consultations and interventions as presented during each assigned shift. Board certification in Urology is not required for this position.
