Essential Job Responsibilities Develop and implement a standard care arrangement with each supervising physician, updated annually in compliance with Section 472343 of Ohio Revised Code. Identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care. Work in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, allowing for consultation, collaboration, or referral. Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and long‑term healthcare issues. Educate patients and/or families about preventative care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medication. Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records, documenting all medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations consistent with organization standards. Facilitate evaluation of records by physician(s), peers, and Quality and Standards according to protocols, and receive and implement constructive directives. Travel required. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications Ohio State certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty—pediatric, family, adult, and women’s health. Maintain such certification or eligibility throughout the term of employment.
