Overview Physical Therapist, General | Gainesville, VA | Start 08/23/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,297–$1,363 per week | 32 hours guaranteed | Shift: 8x4 Days | Setting: Long-term care / nursing home | Travel - Temporary Assignment Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $1,297–$1,363 per week Guaranteed hours: 32 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8x4 Days Start date: 08/23/2026 Work setting: Long-term care / nursing home Responsibilities Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of residents’ physical therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities; apply appropriate modalities Reassess progress, document outcomes in resident records, and communicate with an interdisciplinary care team Facilitate discharge planning and caregiver education; promote safety and independence Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and documentation standards Requirements Active Physical Therapist license in the United States or eligibility for Virginia licensure Availability to work 32 guaranteed hours per week, typically 5 days per week Ability to work in a long-term care/geriatric setting Strong communication and teamwork skills; effective collaboration with the care team Ability to document patient progress accurately and follow facility policies Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Guaranteed hours Extension opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
