Location: Jackson Metro Area – Hinds, Madison & Rankin Counties
Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Scheduling
Position: In-Home Caregiver

Seniors Helping Seniors® Jackson East is looking for compassionate, dependable people who enjoy helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Our caregivers do more than complete tasks. They provide companionship, encouragement, and a helping hand to seniors who want to continue enjoying life at home.

What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of the senior you are matched with, responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and conversation

• Preparing simple meals

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Grocery shopping and errands

• Providing transportation to appointments, shopping, church, or activities

• Helping with organization and everyday household tasks

• Providing reminders and assistance with daily routines

• Providing respite and support for family caregivers

• Assisting with personal care when appropriate and properly trained

• Encouraging social interaction, activity, and independence

• Providing dependable, compassionate support and communicating concerns to the office

Most importantly, you will build a relationship with the senior you serve and help make their day better.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• Genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults

• Are compassionate, patient, and respectful

• Are dependable and take your commitments seriously

• Have good communication skills

• Are comfortable working independently in a client's home

• Have reliable transportation

• Have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance when transportation is part of the assignment

• Can successfully complete required background and employment screening

Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is helpful, but a caring heart and dependable attitude are extremely important to us.
