Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Health Care Attorney in Chicago, IL. This role involves engaging in diverse corporate transactions and regulatory matters for various health care organizations. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
Duties
- Handle corporate transactions for health care organizations.
- Advise on regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse, Stark, and HIPAA.
- Manage hospital-physician and provider-payor relationships.
- Provide legal counsel on Medicare reimbursement issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional matters.
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Excellent client service abilities.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed attorney in Illinois.
Skills
- In-depth understanding of health care regulations.
- Proficiency in managing complex legal transactions.
