Job Title: Quality Auditor Purpose: The Quality Auditor position is an entry level position responsible for ensuring that quality is built into the product, using product knowledge, training and communication. Responsibilities Follow all Amcor safety and environmental policies and procedures. Follow OSHA rules and regulations. Monitor quality of product: inspect bottles for defects, inspect boxes for damage and follow customer pack patterns. Communicate and cooperate with other employees in a positive and constructive manner to achieve departmental goals. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines; wear protective clothing, long‑sleeved shirt, jeans or slacks, hair net, latex gloves and practice good hygiene. Be willing and able to work overtime when needed. Identify and report violations and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel. Effectively respond in emergency situations such as fire or accident and direct the activities of others. Follow all Department Procedures and Directives. Use and understand multiple measuring devices. Compare color of product with color standard. Record test data and identify trends using Statistical Control Process (SPC). Follow ISO and Quality Management Systems. Follow the Quality Control Plan and make product conformance decisions based on bottle specifications and customer expectations. Audit production processes as per ISO. Stop work when necessary, put product on hold for quality issues, print and reprint production labels. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or six months experience as an Amcor Packer. Ability to multi‑task. Background check and drug test clearance. Monitor quality of machine output. Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds. Ability to work in a production environment and recognize various sounds and alarm signals. Follow all department procedures and directives. Perform all duties safely and effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Strong computer skills. Experience with SPC and ISO.
