General Liability Litigation Attorney - Remote / CA / AM100 Defense

General Liability Litigation Attorney (California – Remote/Hybrid Options) Location: California – Remote work available or hybrid in select offices Compensation: $130,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900 Benefits Summary: Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k) with matching; paid time off; parental and family leave; life and disability insurance; continuing education support; bar dues reimbursement; and student loan repayment assistance. About The Role We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney with a focus on general liability to join a collaborative team handling complex civil defense matters. This role allows flexibility in work location, including fully remote or hybrid options, and provides exposure to a range of litigation matters in state and federal courts. Key Responsibilities
- Manage general liability cases from intake through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement documents.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients regarding case risk and litigation strategy.
- Conduct detailed legal research and prepare analytical memoranda.
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with senior attorneys and trial teams.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and admitted to practice in California.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in general liability; up to 10 years preferred.
- Experience with motor vehicle or rideshare cases is a plus but not required.
- Strong academic credentials with proven legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and persuasive speaking abilities.
