Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | 5x8s, 40 hrs/week | No call, no floating, no weekends, no holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures including whole body oncology imaging, nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, GI imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with imaging requirements
• Operate imaging equipment including Siemens Biograph PET/CT and Siemens ECAM systems
• Perform pharmaceutical and instrument quality control
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal agency requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Active ARRT (N) registration or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Completion of a certificate program specializing in Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
• Experience working within a multi-technologist nuclear medicine department
