Linen Distribution Worker

Job Summary / Responsibilities Under general supervision, collects soiled linen from user area soiled linen utility rooms and transports soiled linen carts to the primary hold area. Transports clean linen to user areas on a scheduled route. Stocks and restocks clean linen as required, assists the truck driver with loading of soiled linen carts and unloading of clean linen carts. Interacts with user area nursing staff to resolve routine related problems. Keeps the department leader or supervisor advised of any reported linen problems. Maintains neatness and cleanliness of clean and soiled user area utility rooms. Performs other duties as assigned by the department supervisor. Responsible for proper performance of assigned duties under general supervision, including attainment and maintenance of production and quality standards.
